How you keep the engine running with us

As Corporate Recruiter, you will use your inquisitive nature and strong communication skills to identify and attract top talent in the industry, propelling the Fokker Services Group to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues to meet the staffing needs of our Schiphol and Hoofddorp locations during these challenging yet exciting times. Beyond recruitment activities, you will serve as a strategic partner to our hiring managers, overseeing the entire hiring process, from optimizing procedures to onboarding new employees and maintaining relationships with staffing centers. As a true brand ambassador, you will effectively communicate our company values to potential candidates.

The Team:
Our People and Culture Team is distributed across two locations in the Netherlands: Hoofddorp and Woensdrecht. The team comprises four HR Consultants, two HR Business Partners, and yourself, all reporting to the Director of HR. Your primary work locations will be our offices in Schiphol and Hoofddorp, where you will contribute to a collaborative and dynamic HR environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for improvement in processes related to hiring, onboarding, and referrals.
  • Initiate steps to execute said improvements.
  • Initiate candidate sourcing initiatives to cultivate a first-class talent pool.
  • Maintain contact with all locations of the FSG worldwide to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Be the (first) point of contact for potential candidates applying to vacancies.
  • Ensure candidates are a good fit with the company culture.
  • Introduce candidates to hiring managers and assist in setting up job interviews.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to ensure candidates meet strict compliance requirements.
  • Participate in and attend aviation events where (future) talent can be approached.
  • Employer Branding: Act as a brand ambassador to both your colleagues and new candidates.
  • Recruit new employees for the Schiphol and Hoofddorp locations.

How you are valuable to us

  • Experience in maintaining relations with third-party staffing centers is a plus.
