How you keep the engine running with us

As our Group Reporting Controller, you report to the Finance Director of Fokker Services Group. Your position covers the entire Fokker Services Group. You oversee the group-wide information provision and ensure insight and transparency in our financial statements both backward and forward looking. The Group reporting Controller supports the Finance Director in managing the external audit process and you ensure that legal requirements, quality standards and deadlines are met. The Group reporting controller is also responsible for all direct tax and custom compliance.

The Team

The Group Reporting Controller is part of the Finance Team of Fokker Services Group. The Finance teams are based locally at our locations in Woensdrecht, Hoofddorp, La Grange and Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of monthly management accounts, inc balance sheet and cashflow statements
  • Consolidation of forecast and budgets, inc balance sheet and cashflow statements
  • Managing of the external audit process
  • Preparation of the annual external financial statements in line with Dutch GAAP
  • Preparations of the income tax (CIT) reports and BSAR for the Dutch entities, together with the FSG Tax Manager.
  • Automating group financial reports through reporting tooling such as Lucanet and PowerBi.
  • Modelling of the financials for the company’s long-term strategic plan
  • Managing the custom compliance team (1.5 FTE)
  • Managing all insurance related matters
  • Developing governance of financial processes, ensuring reporting standards and accounting policies are aligned across all legal entities.

How you are valuable to us

  • Masters degree in Finance
  • At least 5-10 years experience in a financial reporting role
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experienced with ERP systems, consolidation software and reporting tools (eg PowerBI)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong Excel skills
  • The role is based in our Hoofddorp headquarter, but also requires bi-weekly presence at our Woensdrecht location, where the custom compliance team is based.
