How you keep the engine running with us

As a Logistics Coordinator at Fokker Services, you ensure the optimal functioning of our internal logistics, providing the best possible service to our (internal) customers. Your role involves ensuring customers receive the right parts and components on time. This position operates at two locations, Hoofddorp and Schiphol, with a growing team currently consisting of around 20 FTEs, supported by Senior Warehouse Employees.

You ensure all logistical tasks are carried out by your team safely, quickly, and accurately. Your key responsibilities include staff planning, proactive daily management of incoming shipments, preparation and packing of outgoing shipments, storage and collection of goods, cycle counting, and executing VMI and 3PL logistics programs.

Additionally, you ensure proper waste management across the warehouse, maintain cleanliness (5S), and process scrap material according to aviation regulations. As a Logistics Coordinator, you oversee that all tasks are processed, executed, and administered in our ERP systems according to our internal procedures, which you also maintain.

 The Team

The Logistics Coordinator operates within the Supply Chain Organization of Fokker Services. Together with your fellow Logistics Coordinator and Seniors, you manage all required logistics and warehouse activities. You work both as a team and within a team, being proactive, flexible, and capable of working with various ERP and automated systems.

 Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator at Fokker Services in Hoofddorp and Schiphol, you ensure the smooth operation of our internal logistics. Your responsibilities include:

  • Staff planning and ensuring execution within agreed (K)PIs and contracts.
  • Daily management of all warehouse tasks for smooth operation.
  • Setting priorities, assigning team members, and acting as an escalation point within your organizational unit.

You also represent your team in (inter)departmental meetings, promote standardization and best practices, and ensure flawless administration in our various ERP systems. Furthermore, you perform warehouse activities, including packaging, storing, and counting goods, as well as executing Shelf Life Control & Scrap processes. You should also be able to respond to AOG requests, have a customer-focused and persuasive attitude, and be flexible in dealing with a diverse group of people.

How you are valuable to us

The ideal candidate for the role of Warehouse Logistics Coordinator at Fokker Services has an education at MBO4 or HBO level or comparable experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Preferably, you have experience in (aviation) logistics and are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Basic technical knowledge of aircraft parts and tools is a plus.

Additionally, it is important to have a valid forklift certificate (Narrow Aisle & Reach) or be willing to obtain it. A valid driver's license (B) is required. VCA certification is a plus, but you must be willing to obtain it. You must also be willing to successfully complete internal training programs. A flexible and agile work attitude is crucial, as well as stress resistance, accuracy, and result-orientedness. You must be a team player who works well with others. Furthermore, it is important that you currently reside in the Netherlands.
