Aircraft Mechanic
In this role, key responsibilities include performing non-destructive tests on aircraft-related parts, utilizing Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant Testing techniques. You will be tasked with interpreting and assessing test results to promptly identify defects, anomalies, or irregularities in materials and components. Ensuring strict adherence to aerospace standards, codes, and safety regulations is paramount.
Collaboration with the engineering department and/or the responsible Level 3 personnel is essential to address and resolve quality and safety-related issues. Regular on-site inspections and tests are conducted to uphold the highest quality standards throughout the aircraft components' life cycle.
Maintenance of accurate records is a crucial aspect of the role, encompassing testing procedures, test results, and the calibration of equipment and materials. Additionally, active participation in the development and implementation of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures and protocols is required, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in aerospace quality assurance.
