How you keep the engine running with us

As a Maintenance Planner you will work in a highly specialized role. The main challenge in this function is to split the customer aircraft workscopes, prepared by Process Engineers, into packages of workable work that can be accomplished by the Production team in the hangar. Reporting to the Team Leader Ops Support, you will work closely in conjunction with the Process Engineers, Production Leads and Project Managers. Along with issuing the packages, you will run checks to ensure materials and tooling are on dock at the required time for the tasks to be carried out. You will be required to have input into the check planning process and ensuring that targets and critical milestones are achievable and reached on schedule. Additionally, you will become responsible for adjusting the workload due to amendments to the project plan or problems leading to schedule changes and also maintain a clear overview of the project status.

You will work closely with colleagues in Process Engineering and Production to gather project status updates and modification progress. You will liaise with the Order Control and Logistics departments, to check required components and specialized tooling are on-dock in time for the scheduled inspections. Regular communication with the Project Manager is required to discuss project progress. Moreover, you will communicate with customers to address technical and substantive questions, so proficiency in English is essential.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be involved with monitoring project progress and take part in meetings in case of any urgent requirements that may hinder progress. Your responsibilities will eventually include developing and updating project schedules.

How you are valuable to us

  • MBO+ (Intermediate Vocational Education) level of education or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Programs, short and long term maintenance planning, aircraft tooling and material requirements;
  • Thorough understanding of EASA Part 145, MRO Procedures, project management and experience with planning and logistical processes.

  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Constant pursuit of standardization and flexibility;
  • Achieving self-set challenging goals;
