As an experienced Aircraft Structure Technician, you will perform inspections, repairs and/or modifications on state-of-the-art military aircrafts at the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) base Volkel or Leeuwarden, both located in the Netherlands. As an Aircraft Structure Technician, you will work on metallic and composite substructures, using aircraft manuals and blueprints. You are equally a colleague within Fokker Services Group, as you are an imbedded team member of the maintenance teams at the Air base.
You are a pragmatic team player, with +2 years’ extensive experience as Aircraft Structures Technician. You are skilled in executing depot level modifications as per engineering/technical specifications, in a Part-145 environment. Your experience with military aircraft maintenance is preferred.
You have strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, and you can read and understand technical English. Proficiency in speaking and writing Dutch is preferred, as well as being familiar with business operations of the RNLAF.
Candidates must be eligible for military security screening, which requires a clean background with no factors that could affect security clearance eligibility.
Your flight plan
Fokker Techniek offers long-term contracts (minimum of 24 months) with excellent conditions on either employee (with possible permanent contract) or contractor base. During your first days we will evaluate your skills as a Structural Repair Technical and where necessary offer (specific) in-house sheet metal/composite training courses to expand your knowledge & experience to the required level. By doing so, we are not only guaranteeing a successful deployment within the company but also expend your skills set!
