How you keep the engine running with us

As our Application Developer you will be part of our Advanced Analytics team in Hoofddorp. 

This team consists of data engineers, data scientists and business analysts who have various experiences and backgrounds.

The Data Science Lead will be your manager and coach.

What will you do?

As our Application Developer, you are responsible for designing and building software solutions in python on Kubernetes platform.

You will support and maintain cloud environment and applications.

In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Creating tailored applications that solve specific problems for internal clients.
  • Oversee and improve cloud-based systems and manage software deployment for smooth operation.
  • Continuously improve software and ensure new versions are seamlessly integrated.
  • Develop systems that allow different software to communicate with each other.
  • Work with teams using version control tools and create easy-to-understand dashboards to show data insights.

How you are valuable to us

You are an Application Developer who knows how to plan and prioritize. You know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.

You are comfortable with working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. 

In addition you have:

  • A Bachelor Degree, or equivalent, in informatics/software engineering or related.
  • Relevant work experience in application development.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of programming (SQL and Python).
  • Experience in working with Lean principles and driving continuous improvement.
