The team
As our Application Engineer you will be part of our IT team in Hoofddorp.
This team consists of 8 other engineers. who have various experiences and backgrounds. From IAM specialist to CRM to application engineer. The application Teamlead will be your manager and coach.

What will you do?
As our Application Engineer you are responsible for managing a range of applications. The role focuses primarily on two ERP systems based on MS SQL technology, operating both in Azure and on premises, complemented by several supporting applications.
You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and key users to ensure that the applications meet organizational needs and contribute to the company’s strategic objectives.

In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Ensuring continuity and further optimizing the use of ERP systems in relation to business processes.
• Preparing and monitoring project plans, milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
• Preparing monthly reports for various departments using Microsoft reporting tools.
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve the platforms, both procedurally and technologically.
• Planning, coordinating, and communicating new features and improvements to users.
• Developing and implementing strategies to promote adoption of the different platforms
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and making adjustments where necessary.

What do you bring?
You are an Application Engineer who has project management skills. You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the capacity to separate key issues from details. You understand how to work efficiently and continuously improve processes. You collaborate easily with others to achieve shared goals, combining technical expertise with organizational awareness and strong communication skills.

In addition, you have:

• A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in IT or related.
• 5 years relevant work experience in managing an ERP application.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL in both Azure and on premises environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of Azure and Office 365 is an advantage.
• Certifications such as ITIL, Prince2, or Scrum Master are considered a plus.
