How you keep the engine running with us

As our Business Application Lead, you will manage the Application Administration Team to ensure the availability, maintenance and support of a wide range of business-critical applications.
Due to your knowledge of M365 and Azure you are responsible for the specific administration tasks in this area of expertise.

You will collaborate closely with other departments and providers and play a key role in optimizing the company's IT systems.

In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:

Leading a team of Application Administrators, ensuring the execution of controlled processes for application management and database administration.
Advising on and implementing policies and procedures related to applications, databases, security, and backups.
Managing Microsoft Azure resources, cost control, and security measures, along with optimizing cloud migration efforts.
Monitoring application performance, resolving operational issues, and coordinating upgrades in a controlled manner.
Reporting to the IT Manager on team activities, achievements, and continuous improvement efforts.

You are a Business Application Lead who has a flexible work attitude, exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. You are a team player and an inspiration to your colleagues, with strong leadership skills to drive projects forward.

In addition, you have:

A Bachelor’s degree in ICT/Informatics or a related field.
Over 5 years of experience in application management, with proven expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Knowledge of ITIL/BISL support processes and industry standards.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

The Team

Our ICT department is a key driver of the company’s strategy, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of business-critical applications. As part of our team, you will help shape the future of our IT infrastructure and contribute to the overall success of the organization. As our Business Application Lead, you will lead a team of eight Application Administrators. Your direct manager and coach will be the IT Manager.
