Fokker Techniek is currently on the lookout for an experienced Coordinating Sheet Metal Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and coordinating sheet metal work on aircraft. Additionally, you will provide operational supervision to (All-round) Sheet Metal Workers, including contracted personnel
As Coordinating Sheet Metal Worker, you will be the guardian of quality standards for all aircraft sheet metal work within your assigned projects. You will provide operational guidance to (All-round) Sheet Metal Workers and contracted personnel regarding sheet metal tasks. Ensuring timely responses to required output and team efficiency will be key. You will coordinate tasks with other departments to ensure smooth workflow continuity. Active participation in work meetings and contributing to work approach and execution are also part of the gig.
You will be responsible for training and mentoring less experienced sheet metal workers and contracted personnel. Active involvement in ensuring good working conditions and safety for yourself and your colleagues is a must. You will tackle problems and complaints efficiently and report operationally to the Production Lead AMRO, with hierarchical reporting to the Team Leader Sheet Metal
The Coordinating Sheet Metal Worker - On Wing possesses a wide range of competencies crucial for fulfilling the role. With completed aviation technical training in accordance with current EASA regulations and an EASA AML B1.1 License, you're well-prepared for the challenging tasks this position entails.
You have at least five years of proven work experience in aircraft sheet metal work and possess in-depth knowledge of the organization, procedures, technical manuals, repair methods, and safety and environmental regulations. You're fluent in English, both orally and in writing, and proficient in performing sheet metal work on aircraft components using various hand tools.
