        The team 
As our Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer you will be part of our ELAV team. 
This team consists of 18 Engineers who have various experiences and backgrounds. This team is located at Woensdrecht and Hoofddorp and your prime location will be Hoofddorp.
The ELAV Team Lead will be your manager and coach.
What will you do?
 As our Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer, you are responsible for the design, development, integration/introduction, and monitoring of electrical systems and avionics. You will work closely with key stakeholders such as Product Management, Project Leaders, the Design Organization, and line management. Additionally, you will engage with indirect stakeholders including vendors and customers.
In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:
•    Developing of modifications to the aircraft design in accordance with customer and airworthiness requirements.
•    Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into concept designs.
•    Defining of system and project requirements and supporting product management.
•    System integration and the creation of research, test, and system specification.
•    Supporting of system and aircraft tests.
•    Preparation, review, and approval of certification reports.
What do you bring?
You are an Electrical & Avionics Systems Engineer who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are an enthusiastic team player, capable of working collaboratively across disciplines while maintaining a proactive and professional attitude.
In addition, you have:
•    A bachelor's or master's Degree, or equivalent, in Engineering on electrical systems or avionics or related.
•    A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
•    Knowledge of system design and safety Assessments. You are familiar with Do178/160/254 design processes, qualification norms, EASA/ FAA CS25/FAR25 and aeronautical standards.
•    Affinity with aircraft design and operations and other aircraft systems.
