Financial Controller

As our Financial Controller you will be part of an international finance organization with teams located in Hoofddorp, Woensdrecht, Singapore and the USA. You will work directly under the Group Finance Manager, who will be your manager and coach. You will also collaborate closely with the CFO.

This vacancy is available for our locations Hoofddorp and Woensdrecht.

The Financial Controller plays a key role within the Finance department and is responsible for budgeting & forecasting processes, group consolidation, statutory reporting, and ownership of the Lucanet consolidation system. This position ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, supports strategic decision-making, and contributes to continuous improvement in financial processes.

Furthermore, you are responsible for: 
•    Coordinating the budgeting and forecasting processes.
•    Consolidating Fokker Services Group financials.
•    Preparing the annual external financial statements in line with Dutch GAAP.
•    Acting as the functional owner of the consolidation tool Lucanet. 
•    Automating group financial reports using tools such as Lucanet and Power BI.
•    Managing insurance-related matters. 
•    Supporting ad hoc financial and cross-functional projects.

You’re a Financial Controller who consistently sets goals and takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with enthusiasm. You are a self-starter but are also able to clearly communicate to the organization what is expected to meet the deadlines of the reports.

In addition, you have:

• Masters' education in Finance or a related field.
• 2-5 years' experience in a similar financial role.
• Solid knowledge of consolidation, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting and financial regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with consolidation and reporting systems.
