        The team 
As our Head of Procurement you will be part of our Procurement CS team in Hoofddorp . 
This team consists of Procurement Account Managers. The Procurement team plays a central role in achieving Fokker Services Group’s ambitions by selecting, qualifying, and contracting suppliers as effectively and efficiently as possible.
What will you do?
As our Head of Procurement, you are responsible for leading the Procurement department and developing the strategic sourcing policy. You are responsible for setting, monitoring, and achieving procurement goals, as well as selecting, contracting, and managing suppliers. The role focuses on improving delivery and service performance, increasing revenue and margins, and reducing product and service costs for Fokker Services Group. Approximately 70% of the role involves strategy, leadership, and stakeholder management, while 30% is hands-on involvement in key procurement activities.
In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:
•    Ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, monitoring adherence to policies, and taking corrective action where required.
•    Conducting market analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement
•    Overseeing the procurement budget and align annual purchasing plans with key stakeholders and corporate objectives.
•    Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on procurement matters, risks, and escalations.
•    Develop, implement, and present the company’s procurement policy, strategy, and processes to the Leadership Team and management 
•    Implement a solid Supplier Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management. 
You are a Head of Procurement who has strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Furthermore, you are able to builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
In addition, you have:
•    A master’s or bachelor’s degree (WO/HBO+).
•    Solid knowledge of and experience in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
•    At least 5 years' experience in leading (senior) Procurement teams.
•    Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and procurement processes, 
•    Knowledge of change management and transition management.
•    Availability to travel abroad. 
•    Preferably, experience and understanding of the Aerospace MRO market.
•    Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
