Aircraft Mechanic
As Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs you will ensure that products that are received and/or shipped by Fokker Services are inspected according to the Fokker Services and 3PL procedures and work instructions. In addition you will receive and inspect unserviceable aircraft parts that are send in by our Customers for repair and overhaul.
The role is performed in a day shift pattern Monday to Friday. For a limited number of positions we also have vacancies for a day/evening shift pattern.
Elements of this role are performed under the authority of the quality department allowing you to assess if components and parts meet the airworthiness requirements. After successfully completing quality courses and on the job training you will be authorized to certify parts that are shipped to our customer within the limitations of your license.
The Team
The Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs operates within the Supply Chain Logistics Department. You will manage together with your colleagues, all inbound and outbound inspection activities. Where operationally required you work on projects and/or support other receiving, warehouse and/or shipping activities. You work as a team and in a team, you are pro-active, flexible and are able to work with different ERP and automated systems.
- Accountable for the inspection of aircraft components and materials;
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the workstation and surroundings 5S;
- Active participation in team meetings and continuous improvement sessions;
- Create required reports for investigation or rejected parts(Non-Conformity, Claims, etc);
- Processing the data and paperwork in the designated ERP systems;
- Identify, (re-)pack and label all inspected goods i.a.w. the required procedures;
- Handle Dangerous Goods in accordance with the IATA regulations and procedures.
