The Team

As our Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs you will be part of the Supply Chain Logistics team. This team consists of 16 Inspectors. Together, you ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods comply with applicable quality standards, aviation regulations, and company procedures. The work is performed in close cooperation with our AOG Team, Logistics, Operational Buyers and Quality Assurance.  

The Logistics Lead will be your manager and coach while an experienced Technical Inspector will be your mentor during your training period towards obtaining the required Inspection Authorizations. 

What will you do?

At Fokker Services, you play a vital role in maintaining the safety and distribution of aircraft parts & components. As an Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs, you are responsible for ensuring that incoming and outgoing parts meet the required quality standards before they are delivered to our customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly contributes to a save aviation environment.

As our Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs you will ensure that products that are received and/or shipped by Fokker Services are inspected according to Quality Management procedures and work instructions. Furthermore, you will receive and inspect unserviceable aircraft parts that are sent in by our customers for repair and overhaul.

In addition, your responsibilities include:

•    Verifying quantities, documentation, certifications and traceability records.
•    Support receiving activities, including Customs registration when required.
•    Creating required reports for investigation or rejected parts (Non-Conformity, Claims, etc.)
•    Register the Inspection results and record the applicable paperwork, e.g. certificates in the designated ERP systems.
•    Identifying, (re-)packing and labelling all inspected goods in accordance with the required procedures.
•    Handle Dangerous Goods in accordance with the IATA regulations and procedures.
•    Participate actively in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
•    Contribute to a safe, organized and clean working environment following 5S principles.

The position is performed in a day-shift schedule from Monday to Friday. Working hours are agreed in consultation with the Logistics Lead and according to operational requirements and/or roster.

What do you bring?

As our Inspector Incoming Goods & Repairs, you are accurate, quality-conscious and result-oriented. You take ownership of your work, remain calm under pressure and enjoy working in a team environment where safety, compliance and quality are paramount.

•    MBO Level 4 diploma, preferably in a Logistics or Technical related discipline.
•    Preferably a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in an Aerospace environment.
•    Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English in word and speech.
•    Knowledge of aviation regulation (e.g. EASA Part 21/145 etc) is a preference.
•    Requirement to successfully pass internal training programs.
