How you keep the engine running with us

As a Logistics Employee at Fokker Services your tasks will be divers. It is your role and responsibility to provide our customers with the best possible service. You make sure the customer will receive the correct parts and components on time. You will be able to perform all logistic tasks in a safe, quick, and accurate manner. The tasks consist out of receiving shipments, store- and pick goods manually or through automated systems, preparing and packing shipments and perform cycle counts. Keep your workspace and the warehouse clean and controlled by means of 5S. Scrap materials in accordance with Aviation Regulations. Be willing to work on our locations Schiphol and Hoofddorp and execute VMI processes, including picks and drops at customers premises throughout the Netherlands.

As a Logistic Employee you need to be able to work with multiple ERP Systems, operate Vertical Lift Machines & Automated Transport Systems, use Forklifts (including Narrow-Aisle & Reach). A driver’s license is required to perform the VMI tasks at Customer’s premises. A screening by the AIVD and a VOG is required for this role.

  • Pick, Count and verify (aircraft) goods, products, components, and (production) tooling i.a.w. quality and productivity requirements.
  • Perform Cycle counting and monitor shelf life requirements.
  • (Re)pack, store, transfer goods within the Logistics department
  • Scrap materials
  • Process all performed activities and transaction in ERP systems
  • Be able to operate Forklifts (Narrow-Aisle & Reach)
  • Operate automated picking systems (Vertical Lift Machines & Automated Transport Systems)
  • Receive shipments from forwarders and register receipt in the ERP systems
  • Prepare and pack shipments
  • Facilitate Non Conformity procedures to have parts inspected by certifying staff
  • Waste control and keep the work environment and surroundings clean and tidy (5S)
  • Perform picks and drops at customers premises throughout the Netherlands (VMI)
  • Perform all other required duties to keep the logistics department/warehouse operational

How you are valuable to us

  • MBO level by education or experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in (aerospace) logistics
  • Fluent in Dutch & Advanced in English(verbal and written)
  • Basic technical knowledge of aircraft parts and tooling preferred
  • Forklift license (Narrow-Aisle & Reach) or willing to obtain must
  • Driver’s license (B) required
  • Requirement to pass internal training programs
