How you keep the engine running with us

The primary challenge in this role is to support logistics and work preparation. You will ensure that orders and materials are in the right place at the right time, enabling your colleagues to work effectively and efficiently with the designated resources, materials, and instructions. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and adjusting the project plan and schedule to maintain a clear overview of the project's status.

You will also maintain daily contact with colleagues in Production to track project status and maintenance activities. This role involves communication with the Purchasing and Logistics departments to inform them about procurement orders and initiate outsourcing for specialized processing of components. You will liaise with the Project Manager daily to discuss progress, and you'll be in contact with the customer to address technical and substantive inquiries. Proficiency in English expression is crucial.

As a work preparer, you will provide information for purchase orders to your colleagues in the Purchasing department to ensure timely availability of project requirements. You will also monitor project progress and initiate meetings in case of any emergencies that may hinder progress. You will be responsible for creating and updating the project schedule, translating project plans into standardized maintenance tasks, and tracking their status.

How you are valuable to us

• MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education) level of education or equivalent.

• Knowledge of planning and quality systems.

• Solid understanding of project management and experience with planning and logistics processes.

• Solid knowledge of information systems.

• Fluency in Dutch and English.

• Note that a Military screening will be conducted due to the nature of the Military work.
