How you keep the engine running with us

As an NDT / NDI Technician, you perform specialized Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on military aircraft and aircraft components. Your work ensures that structural defects are identified before they become a safety risk, helping to keep aircraft mission-ready and compliant with military airworthiness regulations.

Working as part of our Defense organization, you will support maintenance, repair and overhaul activities for various Royal Netherlands Air Force platforms. Using advanced inspection techniques, you assess structural integrity, interpret inspection results and work closely with Structures Technicians, Engineers and Maintenance Teams to ensure every aircraft is released safely and on time.

As an NDT / NDI Technician, you will:

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing inspections on aircraft structures and components using approved inspection methods
  • Conduct borehole inspections using visual inspection, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic Testing techniques
  • Detect and evaluate structural defects, fatigue and material discontinuities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals and inspection instructions
  • Document inspection findings and non-conformances in accordance with aviation regulations
  • Support maintenance teams with technical advice regarding inspection results and required corrective actions
  • Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparators and gauges
  • Maintain inspection records, reports and statistical documentation
  • Support basic aircraft maintenance activities when operationally required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance organization

You will become part of our Defense Maintenance organization, working alongside Structures Technicians, Engineers and Quality specialists in a multidisciplinary environment. Together, you ensure military aircraft remain safe, compliant and available for operational deployment.
