As an Operational Buyer, you will join the Order Control team, consisting of 8 colleagues working in a decentralized setup across the site. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring that materials and services are available on time, at the right quality, and under the most favorable commercial conditions to support daily operations.
You are responsible for acquiring and purchasing materials, as well as planning and outsourcing components for testing, repair, and overhaul activities. In addition, you manage inventory levels to ensure operational continuity and maintain accurate administrative records related to supplier performance, including quality, cost, and availability.
A significant part of your role involves supplier interaction. You will select (sub)contractors, manage RFQ processes, and build strong, effective relationships with suppliers. You ensure that delivery schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and costs remain competitive.
