How you keep the engine running with us

The team 
You will be part of the Avionics & Instruments team. This team consists of fellow process engineer, direct shop support, a product owner and a product engineer within the Avionics & Instruments shop.
The Team Lead Process Engineering will be your manager and coach.

What will you do?
As a Process Engineer Avionics & Instruments, you play a crucial role in the Component Maintenance activities within Fokker Services. You will be the first point of contact for Technician of the Avionics & Instruments shop in order to assist with technical enquiries. In addition to that, your primary role will be to monitor and control shop processes, update and maintain capabilities and ensure calibration and/or availability of tools, consumables and equipment. 
As a Process Engineer you will provide support and serves as a stand-in, in case of absence of one of the Production leads. 

In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:

·       Supporting the Component Repair Shop in case of technical enquiries and providing assistance in case of any customer enquiries;

·       Liaising with Production leads and the Technical buyer in order to achieve goals and objectives;

·       New business or engineering assistance requests from the Production leads and Product Owner in order to optimize or expand the scope of the shop.

How you are valuable to us

What do you bring?

You are a Process Engineer with analytical and data analysis skills. You have a problem solving mentality and can do attitude and have the ability to identify improvements.

In addition you have:

·       A completed HBO education, or equivalent, in an (Electrical or Mechanical, Aviation-related) Engineering discipline;

·       Knowledge of Avionics & Instruments components;

·       Experience in working with Lean principles and driving continuous improvement;

·       Knowledge of operational excellence and understanding of primary shop processes;

·       Knowledge of MS Excel and Access.
