How you keep the engine running with us

The role of Product Engineer - Tooling is pivotal to the continued growth and success of the Component Maintenance activities within Fokker Services. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, manufacturing and support of tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and workshop solutions that enable our repair capabilities across multiple product areas.

Your work directly enables the development of new repair capabilities, improves operational efficiency, and ensures our technicians have the right tools to perform their work safely and effectively.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role, combining design, problem-solving, manufacturing and workshop activities. Working alongside a fellow Product Engineer - Tooling, you will have access to a dedicated mechanical workshop equipped with modern manufacturing equipment, allowing you to rapidly develop and realize practical solutions from concept through implementation.

• Support troubleshooting and modification of existing test equipment and workshop installations

• Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify and optimize tooling across the different shops

• Responsible for maintaining, improving and ensuring the operational readiness of the mechanical workshop equipment

• Maintain technical documentation and drawings related to tooling and workshop equipment
