How you keep the engine running with us

As Program Manager AMRO, you play a key role in overseeing Component Maintenance activities within Fokker Techniek. You act as the primary representative for CMRO repair requests originating from the AMRO organization, serving as the single point of contact between AMRO and CMRO operations. Your responsibilities include stakeholder management to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between business lines.

Your primary focus is to manage and prioritize AMRO project workloads while assessing their impact on CMRO operations. You serve as the first escalation point for workload and shop capacity conflicts, working closely with the CMRO Planner and Head of Operations to resolve issues. By effectively managing expectations and agreements with AMRO, you ensure smooth coordination between teams and provide valuable feedback on workload demands.

In this role, you collaborate with AMRO Sales Managers to identify new business opportunities for CMRO within AMRO projects. You will contribute to strategic planning, helping to define new capabilities, technologies, and repair procedures for CMRO shops, while also optimizing the existing capability portfolio.

You are responsible for developing commercially viable proposals, providing pricing information for quotes, tenders, and additional work requests, and monitoring financial and operational performance to ensure targets are met.

As Program Manager AMRO, you will work alongside an experienced team of Program, Product, and Proposal Managers, supported by Process Engineers and Logistics Specialists. Over time, you will lead the CMRO technology roadmap, guiding the organization in strategic planning and execution.

You will report to the Head of Programs within Material Services and collaborate with Program, Product, and Proposal Managers, CMRO Shop Managers, and the CMRO Planner to achieve company objectives. Additionally, you will work closely with the Capability Development Lead, Process Engineers, and Logistics Specialists to drive improvements and expand capabilities.

  • Manage and prioritize AMRO repair and occasional manufacturing requests within CMRO operations.
  • Define and drive the development agenda for new CMRO capabilities and repair technologies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean principles to optimize the existing capability portfolio.
  • Support and identify new sales opportunities in collaboration with the Sales department to expand CMRO revenue and volume.
  • Respond to AMRO RFQs and tenders, defining competitive product and service proposals.
  • Develop business cases for new programs and tenders, ensuring alignment with Operations, Sales, and Finance.
  • Facilitate smooth program launches, ensuring a seamless handover to operational teams and ongoing program support.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, ensuring that CMRO capability programs meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and profitability.
  • Lead Program Review meetings with key stakeholders, addressing KPI performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams to enhance CMRO competitiveness.
  • Conduct technical data analyses to improve business intelligence and optimize product-level performance.
  • Forecast workload demands, align shop capacity, and coordinate with Logistics Specialists to maintain optimal material stock levels.
  • Contribute to annual planning sessions, ensuring CMRO has the necessary resources to meet future demands.
