How you keep the engine running with us

As Program Manager CMRO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our Component Maintenance and Manufacturing activities in your portfolio. In your Project Manager capacity, you will manage the CMRO work package for our customer and serve as the main point of contact. You will lead project execution from proposal through delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and at the required quality. Risk management and stakeholder communication will be key to your success. You will handle unforeseen events and unexpected project issues, by applying alternate solutions in an agile and flexible manner.

As such you identify and support the implementation of new technologies for our manufacturing and repair procedures. You will develop and manage compelling proposals for (potential) customers and monitor operational and financial performance of CMRO programs and projects.

The Program Manager will report to the Head of Programs within Material Services. You will work closely with fellow Product & Proposal Managers, CMRO Shop Leads, and the Sales & Procurement departments. Close collaboration with the Capability Development team, Process Engineers and Logistic specialists is required for the improvement and further development of existing and new CMRO capabilities. You will communicate with the Customer Support Representatives on a structural basis to ensure the contractual agreements with the customers are followed and result in meeting the financial and operational targets.

  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for all CMRO-related matters for the special Projects run.
  • Lead the execution of CMRO programs and projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline and quality requirements.
  • Define and manage the strategic roadmap for selected CMRO shops, aligning with broader organizational goals and future capabilities.
  • Develop and manage business proposals for new and existing capabilities and customers, including technical solutions, planning and cost estimation.
  • Monitor and report on financial and operational performance of your designated CMRO projects and products, taking corrective actions where needed.
  • Identify, evaluate and support the implementation of new technologies and process improvements within CMRO operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within Engineering, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, Customer and shop floor teams to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Ensure compliance to contractual agreements and customer requirements, in close coordination with Customer Support Representatives for our external customers.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within CMRO shops to optimize efficiency, turnaround time, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies and maintaining transparency with your stakeholders.

Essential qualifications

  • Proven experience in program or project management within a technical or MRO environment;
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial skillset and experience in driving Sales opportunities;
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate (product) strategy and technical principles to support departments; 
  • A demonstrated understanding of MRO processes and technologies;
  • A demonstrated ability to identify improvements, applying lean principles and driving continuous improvement;
  • Demonstrated commercial savviness and understanding of operational excellence;
  • Demonstrated ability in solving complex problems and showing a can-do attitude;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex Regulatory environment;
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and data analysis skills;
  • A demonstrated excellent proficiency in relevant software skills: MS Excel or Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Access;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English

Desirable:

  • (HBO) BSc or MSc degree, or equivalent, in a technical discipline;
