The Team

The Program Management team, led by the Head of Programs, consists of multiple Program Managers responsible for Fokker, Dash 8, CRJ, and Boeing 737NG Programs, as well as individual Repair Management Programs. The team is part of the Component Services Business Unit and works closely with the Sales & Procurement teams. The Head of Programs is your manager and coach.

Key Responsibilities

As our Program Manager, you will lead service programs from an end-to-end perspective for your assigned product/market combination (PMC) while balancing the program’s service levels and capital requirements. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Operational Leaders to manage one or more service programs, including ideation, project chartering, project execution, operational monitoring, continuous improvement, and overall program management using industry best practices and standards. Additionally, you will work with Sales Managers to generate proposals supported by our operational capability or near-term ambition. Your role will involve collaborating with Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and Engineering Services to prevent, manage, or resolve obsolescence and reliability issues. Furthermore, you will optimize the program’s inventory requirements and divest excess inventory by collaborating with the Fulfillment team. You will also engage in make/buy decisions for products and services, determining whether to insource or outsource and whether to repair or replace items.

  • Charter, initiate, and execute continuous improvement plans and actions for your program(s).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure the program meets customer requirements.
  • Manage internal communication and collaboration to ensure clarity, agreement, and efficiency.
  • Drive best practice management processes throughout the program and promote the consistent use of appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Manage internal and external operational program review meetings.
  • Ensure program administration provides an accurate reflection of the program's status.
  • Manage ongoing program coordination, risk dependencies, issue resolution, and escalations.

How you are valuable to us

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Supply Chain Engineering; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in the appropriate discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing programs or key accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity with advanced analytics practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Proven track record in Project Management (IPMA certified preferred).
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma (certified Green Belt preferred).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
