How you keep the engine running with us

As a Project Leader VIP Maintenance, you are responsible for delivering VIP maintenance and small modification projects within agreed timelines, quality standards and budget. In addition, you coordinate support contracts for VIP aircraft operations, ensuring our customers receive the premium service they expect.

You act as the operational lead within your projects, maintaining momentum on the work floor, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring a structured and efficient execution from start to finish. By combining technical understanding, strong communication and leadership skills, you ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with aviation regulations.

What You Will Do

As Project Leader VIP Maintenance, you will:

  • Ensure structured execution of maintenance and modification projects within the agreed scope
  • Safeguard technical scope, planning, budget and quality targets throughout project execution
  • Organize and lead project kick-offs, daily stand-up meetings and project close-outs
  • Manage project financials, including budget control, hours tracking and reporting
  • Monitor planning, progress and quality while proactively adjusting operations when required
  • Develop and maintain accurate short- and mid-term resource forecasts
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks at an early stage and escalate when necessary
  • Coordinate closely with Production Leaders, Engineering, CMRO and Operational Support teams
  • Maintain customer contact together with the Project Manager and support customer visits on the work floor
  • Ensure clear communication between operations, internal stakeholders and customers
  • Contribute to achieving outstanding customer satisfaction levels in a VIP environment

Your Position in the Organization

You report directly to the Project Manager VIP Maintenance and operate within defined project frameworks. Working in a matrix organization, you collaborate closely with Production Leaders, Order Controllers, Process Engineers, CES Engineering, CMRO and Operational Support.

Together, you are responsible for the successful execution of VIP maintenance projects and support contracts.

We are looking for someone with:

Required

  • Proven experience within aircraft maintenance and/or modification environments
  • Experience in project management, production management or a similar coordinating role
  • Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to lead day-to-day operations and keep teams aligned
  • A strong customer-focused mindset
  • Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Solid understanding of FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English

Preferred

  • IPMA-D certification or equivalent project management qualification
  • Experience working within VIP, business aviation or customer-focused maintenance environments

The Team

You will work in a dynamic project environment, typically managing a portfolio of approximately three projects in different EPIC phases. Your core team consists of around 10 professionals, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Proposal Managers, Planners and Sales Managers. Successful execution requires close collaboration with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Production, Component Maintenance and Commercial teams, as well as frequent interaction with customers and project sponsors.
