How you keep the engine running with us

As Team Leader Process Engineering you will co-ordinate a team of 12 Process Engineers covering a number of aircraft maintenance disciplines. The Process Engineers prepare workscopes for scheduled aircraft heavy checks, redelivery as well as more specialist maintenance such as VIP and Special Mission aircraft conversions. The main challenge in this role is to ensure the PE workload is manageable, day to day administrative duties for the team are completed and arranging coverage for vacation/illness to ensure projects remain on schedule and preparation is completed in time for the aircraft arrival. You will also be required to carry out Performance Development interviews at regular intervals, assist with goal setting and motivate the PE team

Reporting to the Team Leader Operations Support, you will maintain daily contact with colleagues in four hangars across the Fokker Techniek site to ensure they have the resources they need to complete their workload.

As a Team Leader, you will need to be aware of Project schedules, planned aircraft arrivals and departures, specialized requirements depending on the customer workscopes and be able to assist Process Engineering when necessary. Your role is also to define, roll-out and implement (process) improvement projects (LEAN); make the PE department more efficient and align more with the internal/external stakeholder demands/requirements.

You should have experience of managing and motivating a large team of technical experts, knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and a keen eye for details and customer satisfaction.
