Aircraft Mechanic
Upon receiving a component, you will conduct comprehensive and extensive testing, using automated test equipment and high-end measuring tools. Based on the results, you will proceed with hardware repairs. Together with the schematics and the know-how of the experts on the shop floor, you locate the error and repair, test and calibrate the failing component. After which the component can be returned to the customer in an airworthy manor. In our shop you will encounter modern state-of-the-art SMD techniques, as well as components dating back to the 1980s.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Testing, inspection and reparation of electronical / mechanical aircraft parts;
- Maintenance and calibration of test and measuring equipment;
- Working within the rules that apply within aviation;
- Ensure a cost-effective completion of your work;
- Make a positive contribution to the working atmosphere and team spirit at Fokker.
