Aircraft Mechanic
In this role, you'll play a key role in the repair, overhaul, and modification of pneumatic or hydraulic components in one of our workshops at Schiphol. You'll become a technical specialist in components found in various places on aircraft, such as those related to engines, landing gear, doors, and flight profiles. In this workshop, we perform maintenance on Fokker components but primarily focus on components from other aircraft platforms (e.g., A320/B737/B777). In this position, you'll have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills related to various types of components powered by air, oil, or fuel, and to progress to the role of 'Certifying Staff.' Inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on aircraft components, covering mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. This includes air valves, electromechanical actuators, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps, engine accessories, and flight controls.
- Testing repaired components.
- Contributing to improvement opportunities relevant to the work and/or work area.
- Adhering to aviation regulations outlined in EASA Aviation Law and Company Procedures (MOE).
- Playing an essential role in supporting the repair and overhaul of critical components.
