You play a key role in the repair, overhaul, and modification of AC and DC generators (Integrated Drive Generators) at one of our workshops at Schiphol.

  • 1 year starting contract
  • 40 hours a week
  • 1 MBO+
  • 40 Vacation/ADV days per year

How you keep the engine running with us

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on aircraft components (Integrated Drive Generators), in both the mechanical and electrical systems;
  • Testing repaired (IDG) components;
  • Contributing to improvement opportunities in the work and/or work area;
  • Working according to aviation regulations described in EASA Aviation Law and Company Procedures (MOE);
  • Polishing and honing aircraft parts;
  • Essential role in supporting repair and overhaul of critical components.

How you are valuable to us

To succeed in this role, you have completed a technical MBO3 or MBO4 education at an Aviation School (preferably) or an equivalent technical education such as Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Other important qualities include:
  • Hands-on experience with repairs of mechanical parts;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and measurements;
  • Fluent in Dutch;
  • Sufficient knowledge of the English language to read and understand English manuals;
  • Ability to make the right balance between quality/quantity and costs;
  • Able to work independently, efficiently, and in a team;
  • No 9-to-5 mentality;
  • A permit to live and work in the Netherlands is required.
