The ‘Embraer Best Supplier Award’ represents Embraer's commitment to fostering best-in-class practices within its global supplier network across all business segments, including Commercial and Executive aviation, and Defense and Security. The award ceremony, which honored the achievements of Embraer’s suppliers during 2023, was held during the recent Embraer Suppliers Conference ESC at the São José dos Campos (SJK) and the Gavião Peixoto (GPX) facilities in Brazil, from April 29th to 30th 2024.

The award reflects the successful collaboration between FSG and Embraer across multiple programs, where FSG has demonstrated exceptional operational efficiency with focus on On-Time-Delivery (OTD), business alignment, and customer support. Gearing up its warehouse to fully automate in-house storage and part retrieval and implementing continuous improvement strategies consistent with Embraer’s business ethos, FSG has achieved a 99% of orders running first time right, along with on-time delivery performance of 96% on average throughout 2023. Significant achievements that underscore FSG’s dedication and expertise, in a time when scarcity of piece parts and delays in the delivery of new OEM parts are the norm across the whole value chain.

During the ESC Conference, Roberto Chaves – Executive Vice-president of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer, said: “in 2023, our business has learned the importance of adapting to the global scenario and, together with our Supply Chain, building solid relationships based on the pursuit of efficiency and continuous improvement. Our guide has been: ‘adapt, collaborate, overcome’ to deliver exceptional products and services”.

Leon Kouters, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Fokker Services Group, added: “we take pride in this outcome, which is the end result of myriad efforts to enhance the efficiency of the Embraer related programs, and contributing to creating a culture of excellence, hallmark of everything we do at FSG and Embraer”.
